Zombie loves spending his time rough housing with his large foster fur brothers, playing fetch, chasing the squirrels, long walks on the trails, going to dog-friendly places to meet other dogs and people, exploring the backyard when he gives up pestering his foster fur brothers.

If you’re an active person and dreamed of having a fur side kick Zombie could be your boy. Or if you currently have a dog that needs someone to play with then Zombie could be their partner in crime.

Also known as the Australian Collie and the Border-Aussie, the Australian Shepherd-Border Collie mix is a wonderful hybrid that takes many positive personality traits from both its parents, the Border Collie and the Australian Shepherd.

Zombie also plays well with kids of all ages, especially if they’re willing to play an endless game of fetch. Zombie is a smart boy. At nearly 5 months old he knows his name, he can sit, lay, sometimes roll over and play dead (usually he mimics his foster fur brother). I strongly believe he can learn anything if you stick with it. Also providing lots of treats- he is a treat driven dog.

Not only does he have the smarts, but Zombie is far more handsome in person. We get so many compliments on this guy!

All family members and any dogs from the household need to be present at the time of the adoption. Our website (.animalhouseshelter) is kept 100% up-to-date with who is currently available. New animals (40/week) are added to the site 2 weeks before their availability date to give you time to fill out your adoption application and get the family ready to come out to the shelter that day. So keep any eye on the site for any animals being added as available for adoption as new animals are added everyday!

We would recommend if you haven’t done so already that you submit a general online adoption application with us so it is on file for when you are ready to come out and adopt. The adoption counselors will be able to show you many animals that would be a good fit for your family.
