To think that the setup file itself is a trojan is ridiculous. This is the real legit software (from DTS Inc.) here, I installed it, and yes it's uncracked and needs to be cracked.

Blind trust in anti-virus software (when you know there are famous cases of false positives) is no more logical than blindly trusting in the reported software itself. You have to do other research to make an educated guess about whether the file is legit or not. Weigh up the odds - would someone infect an extremely obscure piece of software that's not even cracked for wide use? If you know anything about the 'The Scene' (like I do - go read if you have no idea what this all is), you'll know how these releases work, where they come from and HOW they trickle throughout the internets.
