Like so many others I'm looking for info on my old Grumman Sport Boat, serial # 1404-G-158. Primarily I'm interested in year of manufacture and load capacities for this vintage.

She's in excellent condition- no dents, dings or repairs. Along with a vintage 6 HP Johnson, it's the perfect fishing boat for our north Maine woods lakes an ponds. At 112 pounds my wife and I can load it onto our camper with little trouble and you never know it's there.

I used to routinely catch (and release) about 30 five pound salmon each spring but now the lake is full of stunted togue, few salmon and very few smelts. Scraggly is still productive and West Grand has been very good the last few years as well as East Grand.
