Connecting Marshall VM 2266 (8 omhs option)to 16 ohms on back of 1960A cab? I'm waiting for a Marshall 1960A cab to arrive in the mail in a few days, and I'm just wondering can I just connect my Marshall Vintage 2266 (50 watt) head to the cabinet without any complication. I don't know if I need to know the ohms or impedance levels, or if I even should be worrying about this. A good speaker cable suggestion would also be nice along with information on head to cabinet connection. On the back of the head, there's a 16 ohms and 8 ohms selection.

Can I put either 8 or 16 in the 16 ohms input on the back? Just curious though it's a bit of an amateur question. Any information on cabinet connections in general is really useful to me.

Up a great Marshall Vintage Modern 2266 (50 watt) and matching 425A cab. Kasoti jindagi ki serial songs. Gives my sound so much beef and the 4 knobs allow you to change and mess.
