Sample Violin Recital Program Samples
Decide who will be inviting the guests. This is important because it determines the wording of the recital invitation. This could be the parents of the performer, the teacher of the performer or the performer himself.
Determine the mood of the recital. If the recital is a large, formal affair in a hall or auditorium, your recital invitations should be formal. If this is a casual recital at someone’s home, or an intimate affair for only close family or friends, the wording can be informal and written with humor, if appropriate.

If the performer is the inviter, you would write “Please join me as I perform in my first recital!” Under the opening sentence, list the date and time of the recital.
Write the name of the venue and the complete address. At the bottom of the invitation, indicate if reservations are required.
If so, list the complete RSVP information, such as phone number and RSVP date.
The concert that I will be writing about is based on a student recital performed by the music students of Broward Community College. Many of these students have had many years of training and this training shows throughout the concert with wonderful talents withing each individual. The first couple performers performed in the piano, each with a delightful choice of music. The first student to perform was Ashley Huizenga, who chose Nocturne in C# Minor, KK Iva, No.
16 by Frederic Francois Chopin. I found her presence very appealing, and the piece she chose was very delightful. I thought she played well, and the piece choice was very entertaining. Another pianists who played was Manuel Acosta who chose a Beethoven piece was also very good. The third piano performance was a duet with the schools accompanist, which I thought was very interesting. The next group of artists were vocalists, which I enjoyed the most because I am a singer myself. Four of which were Soprano's and one of which was Mezzo-Soprano.
Although all of these vocalists were of the same vocal section, each had their own uniqueness to their voices. For instance, one of the performers, Michele Brache, put on an excellent performance. Her diction, pronunciation, poise and tone were all remarkable.
